Senior Dogs

Secretly, my favorite time with our dogs is when they are seniors!

They are generally calm and always up for a good snuggle. And you can see the gratitude in their eyes when you make them more comfortable with a soft new bed or know their favorite treat or game.

Senior dogs also often make great therapy dogs because they are calmer, but friendly and outgoing. They generally understand the human world a little better than their younger counterparts.

The articles in this section provide information specific to our older dogs and their care.
